Broccoli & Cheese Stuffed Vidalia Onions


  • 6 medium Vidalia Onions
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 pound broccoli
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3-ounce package of cream cheese


Partially boil Vidalia Onions until crisp and tender in salted water. Cook broccoli in salt water. Mix Vidalia Onions, broccoli, parmesan cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Spoon into center of Vidalia On ions. Melt butter, blend in flour. Add salt, milk and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add cream cheese by spooning over Vidalia Onions. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes six to eight servings.
